The Lost Saucer. ABC TV series 1975-76. Dick Darkey, Walter C. Miller, Jack Regas, dirs. Marty and Sid Krofft, prod.; Krofft Entertainment, production company. 30 min., 16 episodes. Jim Nabors, Ruth Buzzi, stars as Fum and Fi ("androids").

Children's SF. Immediately relevant, Episode 2, "Get A Dorse": "Because mechanical devices have been outlawed, Fum and Fi must stay behind while Jerry and Alice search for Dorse [dog+horse hybrid]. They find Dorse locked to a treadmill, generating power for three nutty scientists."[1] "Dorse" defined and stills posted on "Nostalgia Central [2]. Said to parallel Lost in Space, "except that it had a Dorse instead of a robot and was directed at children instead of adults";[3] it can be debated if Lost in Space was suitable for adults.
