Yoss (sic: just Yoss). Red Dust (translation of Polvo rojo [2004]). David Frye, translator. Brooklyn: Restless Books, 2020.[1]

According to Rachel Cordasco, Red Dust "tells the story of a positronic robot detective (á la Raymond Chandler) on a quest to capture dangerous alien criminals and save the space station he calls home."[SFRA Review 50.4 (Fall 2020).[2][3]]

So an AI robot in a total environment that's largely mechanical (in a broad sense), electronic, and (we assume) cybernetic. (What would then be "alien" in the hunted "alien criminals" may be instructive.)

Cf. and contrast Isaac Asimov's The Caves of Steel and The Naked Sun.
