"Crazy Diamond," 8 October 2017. Set in a world of "synthetic humanoids" ("Jacks and Jills"), given "intelligence and emotion" by QCs ("quantum consciousness"). The protagonist "is approached by a dying Jill, who wants him to help her steal ten QCs – one to extend her own lifespan, and the rest to sell, with a share going to" the protagonist to start over with his (presumably human) wife.
