Grimsburg: The Danish Dilemma. Season 1, episode 13 (12 May 2024).[1]

Near end of episode, two sequences of some interest:

At the Grimsburg Institute for the Criminally Insane, note "boiler room" of computer stations for on-line psychological therapy, with the inmates as therapists, and with the computer terminals able to perform (AI?) modifications of the prisoners' looks, as we see with Marvin Flute, the protagonist anti-hero. For what we are calling the boiler room, cf. and contrast other computer-mediated work-spaces, as in, e.g., THE CIRCLE (film) (2017).
Detective Greg Summers, the "deuteroprotagonist" (i.e., Flute's sidekick)[2] threatening Flute and then, converted, bringing down a helicopter with the villain on board, and with visual allusions to such as ED-209[3] in ROBOCOP (1987), and Marvel's Doctor Octopus[4] (first appearance 1963) with tentacles fully extended and impressive, if arguably derived in the tentacles from DC's Plastic Man (first appearance: Quality Comics' 'Police Comics' #1 [1941]).[5]
