Comic book significant for the following: (1) Jim Balen's cover showing a chimera that is a four-eyed woman down to the waist and below that a mechanical black widow spider; she is firing a long automatic weapon. (2) The final episode of Hammer-Stein's War Memoirs, "Only Robots Left Alive!"; Hammer-Stein is a robot, who will lead robots against robots after most of the humans are killed in the war (cf., e.g., P. K. Dick's "The Defenders," cited under Fiction). (3) Sam Slade, "Robo-Hunter," which features cute, insectoid robots.
