Delgado, Ronald. "Conciencia Recuperada" ("Retrieved Consciousness"). QUBIT 29 (2007): 51-53. On line in Spanish but possibly infected.

Reviewed in Rowan Lozada-Aguilera's "To Bottom Out: An Incomplete Guide to the New Venezuelan Science Fiction," SFRA Review#312 (Spring 2015): pp. 14-20, with the key quotation (from what may be a very short story, on Lozada-Aguilera's p. 17. The story "portrays a future world in which is possible to live forever thanks to the bioengineering technology," where the consciousness of the dying can be — at great expense — uploaded into a computer and downloaded into a body, although unfortunately for the dead character here not his old body but a new cloned one.
