CRASH AND BURN. Charles Band, dir. USA: Full Moon Entertainment (prod.) / Paramount (dist.), 1990.

A teen "slicer-dicer" movie with S. F. variations. The year is 2030; the characters in the isolated area get killed in a high-tech environment; and there is a compendium of S. F. clichés, including rule by UniCom, "a free-enterprise bureaucracy dedicated to the concept of life, liberty, and the pursuit of economic stability"—and one that forbids the use of computers and robots. The murderers serving UniCom are androids, and there is a positively presented giant robot, programmed by the heroine.
