Roszak, Theodore. Bugs. Garden City, NY: Doubleday, 1981. Garden City, NY: Doubleday, n.d. [S. F.] Book Club Edition.

A S. F./Fantasy-Horror story (with a strong hint of disaster novel) from the author of Where the Wasteland Ends, The Making of a Counter Culture, and other critiques of the "Technocratic Society" (see citations under Background). Relevant here for its association of computers and insects and for its use of the conceit of human beings within computers, mechanical hives, and a war machine. Rev. Fred D'Ignazio, SF&FBR #2 (March 1982): 11-12.
