Babylon 5: "Z'ha'dum". Season 3, episode 22 (28 October 1996).[1]

Covered briefly in Frank Garcia's "Babylon 5 Episode Guide," Cinefantastique 31.12/Vol. 32 No. 1 (June 2000): 85. See Babylon 5 entry for link to locations on line where the relevant Cinefantastique issues are likely to be archived.

Side bar notes, "Anna Sheridan [...] has been working with the Shadows since the Icarus landed on Z'ha'dum," Earth Alliance designation Alpha Omega III, which the Shadows consider their home, if perhaps not their original world.[2] She "invites John" Sheridan to visit this world. Meanwhile, Dr. Stephen "Franklin's medscans indicates [sic] that Anna was merged with a Shadow ship and is their agent" (Cinefantastique p. 85).

So definitely see for motif of merging with a spaceship; cf. and contrast ST:NG's Borg,[3] plus the more positively physical merging of humans with ships in such works as Anne McCaffrey's The Ship who ... series. [4]
