Third in series, following THOR (2011) and THOR: THE DARK WORLD (2013). Genres listed in IMDb: "Action, Adventure, Comedy, Sci-Fi,"[1], to which one might add Apocalypse (as indicated by "Ragnarok") and Epic Fantasy, and perhaps Farce. Significant here for the SF part in the mish-mash of standard visual tropes from the different genres, including a fair number of hexagons[2] and clockwork imagery associated with the magical and/or really-advanced scientific transporter device for getting to and from Asgard.
