Logline on IMDb: "The story of Ray Kroc, a salesman who turned two brothers' innovative fast food eatery, McDonald's, into one of the biggest restaurant businesses in the world with a combination of ambition, persistence, and ruthlessness."[2] It is never made explicit, but the innovation of the McDonald brothers was applying to the drive-in restaurant model the time-motion techniques of Frederick Winslow Taylor and, to a lesser extent, the production theories of Henry Ford.[3] Note scene of balletic movement of workers as the McDonald brothers figure out the most efficient design of their store (a word that is used in the movie).
