SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY. Ron Howard, director. Jonathan Kasdan, co-script, co-producer; Jonathan Kasdan, co-script, executive producer; based on characters by George Lucas. USA: Lucasfilm, Walt Disney Pictures and others (production) / Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures (US distribution), 2018. See IMDb for details on production and distribution.[1]

See for continued variations on the theme of interesting vehicles without wheels, especially an Industrial/Brutalist train for a Great Train Robbery motif — the film presents a number of cinematic allusions — and the Star Wars galaxy's gravity-nullifying motorcycles. Especially interesting for a minor theme of robot (droid) rights, with a feminist twist, and a Man-and-His-Droid story of tragic love (keep your eye on L3-37).[2][3]

Not to be confused with the 1996 SOLO (film).
